We are people who are passionate about our planet and want to share that passion with citizens and businesses to keep our oceans clean and safe from plastic!

It is estimated by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean by weight than fish.

Turtles, dolphins, whales, fish and sharks are washing up dead on the shore every day full of plastic, and so many of these creatures we all love are facing extinction because of it.

Studies have shown that 1 in 3 fish have plastic in them, we are literally eating our own trash! And 90% of the sea birds we admire unfortunately have bellies full of plastic trash.

These are the statistics, as grim as they are. And if the oceans die, we die!

The problem is our disposable culture. A straw used for 2 minutes, but will be on the planet forever.

So what can we do?

Turtle Approved aims to transform the disposable plastic culture, by getting to a major source... the businesses!

We are connecting businesses, as in stores, individual products or events, with solutions to becoming plastic free!
These businesses will be coached on their plastic use and be connected with the alternatives, to stop the massive influx of disposable plastic products that are going into our oceans.
And once they are rid of plastic, we certify them with our groovy Turtle Approved poster! It can be placed in stores framed or plain, or simply put electronically online for online stores or our logo that can be used when declaring an event or an individual product Turtle Approved!
